Metroform 660 is equipped with a specially designed prevision spindle with micron level performance. The probe arm is optimized for stiffness using FEA to minimize effects of resonance.
• Granite Bed
Precision ground & lapped granite offers a high degree of thermal and mechanical stability.
• Probe Tip & Universal Clamps
Hard carbide probe tips for reliable and long lasting performance. Round and cylindrical pin type followers are provided as standard accessories with the system. Universal part carrier allows the user to conveniently secure and aligh the part between machine centers.
